Planting & Care

1. Planting: First, find an area with full sun to partial shade (4 to 8 hours of sunlight) and well-drained soil, or select a container with drainage holes for planting. Once youve selected a location (or your container, which should be twice the size of the shipped container), dig a hole thats around twice the size of your plants root ball and just as deep. Then, place the shrub, tamp down the soil and water to settle the roots.

2. Watering: Generally, its ideal to check your soil about 2 to 3 inches down for dryness. If the soil is dry here, its time to water. Watering about once or twice weekly is a good rule of thumb.

3. Pruning: After your plant has completed blooming for the year, prune back for shaping and fuller blooming the next season. Any dead or damaged areas can be removed throughout the year.
