Zinnia Gold Medal 1

Zinnia Gold Medal are striking, fully double, dahlia-flowered blooms on 1.2m tall stems provide a dazzling spectacle of scarlet, yellow, orange and pink throughout the warmer months. Use in the garden to create a backdrop of long lasting colour or indoors as a vibrant cut flower. Sow direct where they are to grow when soil is warm, or in trays of Yates Black Magic Seed Raising Mix. Firm down, keep moist through germination and transplant when seedlings are large enough to handle. Choose a well-drained, Sunny, wind-sheltered position. Transplant carefully as seedlings resent root disturbance. Mulch around base of plants to retain soil moisture. Pinching out first buds will encourage branching. Remove spent flowers to prolong display. Plant height 1.2m | Germination 7 – 10 days | Flowering 12 weeks
